Our story

Four decades of ministry, one message

The Evangels began in 1984 in Houston, Texas, as a gospel organization dedicated to lifting up Jesus Christ in word and song. What started as a small circle of believers singing and teaching together has carried on for forty years, reaching congregations and homes through recordings, writing, and fellowship.

The ministry's work has always rested on two pillars: the spoken and written word, and the sung word — articles on faith and character alongside recordings that trace back to 1984. Both are shared here for anyone walking the same road.
